Writing as a way to honor our loved ones can help connect us with our grief in a different way. The experience of loss is as unique as the grieving process itself. Some of us may be grieving the loss of someone we were never able to meet while others may be grieving someone who has not yet left the earth. If there is a loss that you would like to provide space for through guided writing work, we welcome you to fill out an application below. This is not a professional writing class; it is intended as a space to access healing through a writing practice via the guidance of a professional writer and social worker.

The offering below is an intimate group setting; however, sharing is and will always be optional. If you are interested in exploring your grief through guided sessions but prefer 1:1, please indicate that on your application.

This class does not require you to share the details of your loss unless you feel comfortable to do some. You will not share work unless you feel that it will serve you. This space acknowledges all loss without judgement, whether it be the loss of a pet, pregnancy, or a relationship with a loved one.
